According to a report on ESPN.com, the Seahawks have cut WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh on Saturday. The Seahawks signed Houshmanzadeh to a five-year, $40 million contract last offseason, and Seattle did not want to pay his salary for 2010. The report says Seattle will wind up having paid him $15 million for his one season with the Seahawks.
